Denver Divorce Mediation

Divorce better in Denver.

One neutral attorney-mediator guides Denver families — in person or by video anywhere in Colorado — to a complete agreement, without the cost and carnage of court.

Why families choose this path

Four things a better divorce protects.

Your money. Your children. Your time. Your peace. The process you choose decides all four.

Lower cost

Lower cost

Divorce for about a tenth of what you'd pay two trial lawyers — and every dollar you don't spend fighting stays with your family.

Better for children

Better for children

Lower conflict protects your kids. They won't remember the paperwork — they'll remember the tone, and a calm process sets it.

Save time

Save time

Resolved in months, not years — about a quarter of the time a lawyer-driven divorce takes, so you can begin the next chapter sooner.

Lower conflict

A structured, respectful process that keeps the decisions with the two of you — and keeps your family out of the courtroom.

What divorce mediation is

You and your spouse work with one neutral attorney-mediator who represents neither of you, keeps things balanced, makes sure you both understand the legal, financial, and parenting questions, and guides you to a resolution — no judge deciding for your family.

Once you agree, we prepare every court document in a form the judge will approve. Your agreement becomes a Separation Agreement and, after court approval, a court order.

What Denver mediation can resolve

Almost anything can be settled at the mediation table rather than in a courtroom:

  • Division of assets and debts.
  • Parenting time and decision-making.
  • Child support and spousal maintenance.
  • Relocation, and visitation for extended family and grandparents.
  • Military divorce.
  • Any issue that feels too tangled to talk about.

Mediation vs. the courtroom

In a courtroom fight, each spouse hires a lawyer, the court sets the calendar, and a judge who has never met your family decides every issue — hearings months out, argument and stress throughout.

In mediation, you set the pace, keep every decision, and never appear in court. Everything said is private and, under Colorado law, can't be used against you later. Colorado requires mediation in divorces anyway (outside domestic-violence cases) — starting there skips the most expensive and damaging part.

What the fight actually costs

Every dollar spent fighting is a dollar your family never gets back.

The process you choose sets the cost, the timeline, and the tone of everything that follows: months, not years.
